Last couple of blogs, I mainly focused on Price Action across Asset Classes and U.S. Stocks Sectors.

In this post, I would like to share some of the recent data for the European Equity Market. After and during a sell-off, we could identify dispersion between countries, assets and stocks among one sector. Like with the S&P 500, this strategy offers great opportunities.

For Europe, I take the STOXX 600 which is the benchmark for the European Equity Market. Even if the liquidity for the future is mainly on the Euro Stoxx 50, the STOXX 600 offers a more diversified picture.

Like with the S&P 500, the STOXX 600 sector’s classification is made out of 19 Sectors. Below find the performances for the Major European Indexes, the STOXX 600 Sectors and more details for some of those sectors.

(-): Austria, Greece

(+): Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland. In local currency.

 

European Sectors

(-): Travel & Leisure on Coronavirus.

(+): Healthcare, Food & Beverage, Telco, Utilities… Defensive doing the work.

(-): Oil Services underperforming sector and Majors.

(+): Renewables, Wind.

(-): Renault suffering from Nissan + Management Issue.

(=): Big Auto constructors almost similarly down.

(+): Ferrari, Tyres.
